.NET Version Support

.NET Framework 4.8.1 (and earlier)

LINQPad 5 is the most recent version that fully supports .NET Framework 4.8.1 and earlier. If you need to write code that targets .NET Framework then you must use this version.

However, if you just need to reference assemblies already compiled for .NET Framework then you may have success trying that on the latest version of LINQPad. At the time of writing this is LINQPad 9.

.NET Core 1-3

NET Core is a deprecated product line and out of support. Feel free to contact me directly if you need assistance working with code targeting .NET Core.

.NET 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

LINQPad 9 should be able to run anything targeting .NET 6 and newer.
